GET READY FOR THE 2013 ANNUAL DSS JOB FAIR!

Businesses are invited to participate in the 2013 Annual DSS Job Fair, taking place on March 21st, 2012, 10am-2pm, at the Fresno Fairgrounds. There are NO fees or charges for this Job Fair. Two chairs, one eight-foot skirted table, and two boxed lunches will be provided to participating employers.

The Employment Resource Center (ERC) of the County of Fresno Department of Social Services represents the largest job applicant pool in Fresno County, with over 12,000 potential employees participating in the Welfare-To-Work program. Our clients receive services to better prepare them for today's competitive labor market, including job skills training, continuing education, employment counseling, and support services. In addition, we have over 6,000 underemployed individuals with existing job skills and proven employability looking to upgrade their position.

ERC uses current labor market information and works closely with the Economic Development Corporation serving Fresno County to anticipate employer job skill needs and design our training programs.
